This month we will have a special fintech panel to discuss all things fintech! On the panel we have Aris and Charlotte.

Aris Allegos - Moula

Aris is a co-founder and CEO of Moula; Aris co-founded Moula to provide an efficient, and responsible, way for capital to reach small businesses in Australia.  They faced many challenges such as major players including OnDeck and PayPal, large well-funded American competitors. Managed to turn this challenge into a benefit as according to Mr. Allegos, “it validates the space we’re in, utilising online data to do credit checks.” In June, the company raised $30 million in Series A funding in a bid to accelerate growth and improve its product offering.

Charlotte Petris - CEO and Co-Founder

Charlotte is co-founder and CEO of Timelio, a peer-to-peer finance platform directly connecting businesses to investors. Charlotte founded Timelio after experiencing first-hand how difficult it was for businesses to raise finance. Timelio was recently awarded “Game Changer of the Year” by Visa and raised $500,000 capital to support their rapid growth. In less than a year Timelio has funded $10m to businesses in every state across Australia by investors around the world. In 2015, Charlotte was selected to participate in the US founded Springboard Enterprises Program for female entrepreneurs building high growth technology companies
